The pt Daytona is the ultimate Rolex. Once you have it you don’t need any other Rolex. But if you want one it is much easier to find than the mentioned AP.
As an investment I also believe that the AP has more potential because of the current strategy of the company and of the specifics of the watch in discussions. I would go for the AP. Regards, Hans |

I would keep my Platona in this situation. As much as I love the RO, I think my Platona will be more reliable and will absorb the daily wear and tear better. As far as readability, they’re probably about the same. I can hardly read my Platona depending on the ambient light and angle of the watch.

I think the answer to this question depends on a lot of other variables beginning with what else is in your collection and what do you prioritize as being important for you in a wristwatch - durability, finishing, innovation, metal type, etc.
