Yup, Will Bogs is a pick-up artist and a stand-up guy. He makes custom and botique pick-ups and he will wind them to your desire, from mild to wild and anywhere in between. He is well known in several Les Paul Forums.

So I 'hear'! That'd make him a PUA + SUG??? OT: I always found picking them up is one thing - carrying them home is another.

Certainly no pick up artist here...married 17+ years. My husband and I were both 19 when we met, and, I assure you, neither of us was wearing a Rolex.

And his Mean Greenies are the stuff!! I can say they are some of the most sought after vintage sounding pickups on LPF GrandDaddy!

OK, OK. Is this PUA a WIS? PDQ, does he have a GV, LV or LN?

I would imagine any TRF FM's wouldn't want to know any MM's who consider themselves PUA's as they would more likely be labeled MCP. Personally, I'm a WIS MWM with a SMC & MBNKY.

Oh good lord.

Don't you know a Rolex can't mask the stink of desperation?

Words of wisdom. That quote should go in the "Posts of Fame" thread and be on the lips of anyone offering dating advise.

The last time I picked up a girl, I got a hernia. She felt so sorry for me, she married me. There's no way I'm going to pick up another.

That's just 'cause you never did get the art of it, Adrian.

Somebody actually made up an acronym for this..PUA. My god I suddenly feel very old..

All I know is anyone who associates themselves with being a PUA, most likley couldn't get a lady of quality to look at him once much less go home with him regardless of what watch he is wearing. Ick..

I remember once when I was in college I got a date by starting a conversation with " No really, I'm not a doctor but I do play one on TV."
Made her laugh and I got her phone #. Pretty sure my Rolex didn't have anything to do with it..

Don't you think it's a bit premature to brush it off?
