panerai automatic pam00048
Does anyone have experience with the Panerai Luminor Marina? Some of the dials say "Automatic" under the PANERAI and some do not. Also, I think the movement is OP III caliber. Any thoughts or opinions are appreciated.

The “automatic” on the dial belongs to more recent models; not sure of the exact year, but at some point they started including that. Same is true for the white dial PAM00049, which is discontinued. I think (though not 100% sure) that the inclusion of “automatic” on the dials coincided with switching from the old screw lugs to the current push-pin system.
