I don't know anything about grandkids but I can tell you that I always relish the time spent with my wife and son.

We really only got 2 days with them. They spent most of the time with their Dad (which was the way it should be) it just went to fast. I need to go get some beer.

Hmm, the kids are only good to play with when you know:
1. they are not yours 2. you can return them to their parents when they start their tantrums Mine's 18 yo now and I can't imagine how we got through all these years. |

I'm still looking forward to the times those of you speak about.
My one and only grandchild (a boy) has lived with us since the day he was born which was 14 months ago today. My 23 year old daughter was living out on her own until she was 7 months pregnant and then she moved back home. They are moving out this Friday (less than 2 miles away) and personally I can't wait. Our house has been a disaster zone for 14 months and it's hard to miss them when they're never gone............ |
