I miss um...

Grandkids weren't here long enough. You wait half a year for something and it's gone in the blink of an eye.

I don't know anything about grandkids but I can tell you that I always relish the time spent with my wife and son.

Hmm, the kids are only good to play with when you know:
1. they are not yours
2. you can return them to their parents when they start their tantrums

Mine's 18 yo now and I can't imagine how we got through all these years.

Ain't THAT the truth!

My house went from Very Conservative Christmas to Which Bomb Just Went Off Here in about 15 seconds flat when 3 of Nancy's grand-daughters from 3 to 4 years old landed and took over the place! It was a great day, and we're already looking forward to the next family gathering.

Aren't grandkids fun, Al? Tell me about them. My 4-day weekend has just begun and they've already lined me up for a big swimming session this Friday!!

I'm still looking forward to the times those of you speak about.

My one and only grandchild (a boy) has lived with us since the day he was born which was 14 months ago today. My 23 year old daughter was living out on her own until she was 7 months pregnant and then she moved back home. They are moving out this Friday (less than 2 miles away) and personally I can't wait. Our house has been a disaster zone for 14 months and it's hard to miss them when they're never gone............

Watch what you say D! It was the same here. We had our 2 Grandkids all the time because my daughter worked. Now they are in Bubba Land For 24 years there have been kids around and I still have a 13 year old and twins that are 12. I don't look forward to the day they are all gone. Being a Dad is "What I Am"
