The BLNR is a more balanced watch on the wrist. Try them both on and decide which feels better. Looks are subjective.

Owned the Sky Blue and never wanted the BLNR. IMHO the Sky is wasted as another watch in a collection since the annual isn't taken advantage of. It is large but felt comfortable on my 6.5 in wrist. It got a lot of wear time in the year I owned it. It was great for travel as well. But it just didn't get enough wear as I was trying to wear all my watches.

Get both eventually, I love the GMT complication.
I'd go Batman first (it may be your last time to get it at a reasonable price) and then the SD...don't get too caught up in this blue stuff the white and black are very nice too. |

If you have the funds I would buy the one that shows up first and wear it for awhile and get the other when it shows up. If you are paying retail it is an easy sale should you want out.

Just stay on the lists and take whichever one lands first.

BLNR is sporty, SkyD is more dressy. Depends on your lifestyle and tastes.

Thank you for all the great advice!
Part of the dilemma is that I usually buy my watches to keep and am not looking to sell/trade, but I guess that’s always an option I should keep open. I have 7.25” wrists and tried on a PM SkyD which seemed comfortable but yes it was quite heavy and large! At this point, I am going to let Lady Luck make the decision for me and will purchase the first one that comes in. I feel I will be happy with either one, and worst case scenario I could always sell it like people mentioned/advised. Thank you guys again! Will post again when I (hopefully) get the call soon :) |

Both great watches. My skydweller gets the majority of wrist time so I have to vote skydweller.

If you can afford it get both. If you don't, I think you'll regret it down the road - I know I would. Good luck.

Since you have no idea when they'll show up, I'd buy them both.

I’d get them both and wear them to decide. If you don’t like one sell it since both are in demand.

If the Sky D had a smooth bezel, I would be all over it.

Depends on what your vibe is. I was super casual even while I was working, and that trend hasn't changed since I retired. I REALLY like the SkyD, but it's a tad bit too flashy and dressy for me so I'd end up with the BLNR. I'd purchase the SkyD, sell it BNIB, use the cash for BNIB BLNR and use the extra cash for something else. It would work out incredibly well if the SkyD becomes available first as it won't take long to sell.

Odds are they're not going to arrive at the same time. So, just get whichever one comes in first and see how happy you are with it. When the other one arrives, then you can struggle with the decision.
If they do come in at the same time, then I would grab both. You'd be crazy not to. They're both selling waaaay over MSRP right now on the secondary market, so if you needed to dump one, then it would be easy to do so. |

Both are really nice, but I would choose the BLNR.

If the funds are there, I’d say get both. As mentioned previously, it’d be easy to flip either one down the road if you wish to fund a new piece.

If you are comfortable wearing the SkyD while traveling (work and leisure), then get the SkyD. It’s a louder watch and may draw unnecessary attention.
BLNR is less subtle and easier to flip in the future. |
