I joined after you and like you I am in the market for a Rolex (in my case an Explorer 14270 or 114270). I was going to look at watches in NYC at a nationally owned Rolex AD. However, I cancelled that visit because of the AD's horrendous and negative reviews. Would you be so kind to describe the scam you wanted to warn us about?
