Question...will the AD include any sort of box after overhaul?
I am going to take my watch into an authorized dealer for an overhaul and was wondering if they will give me a Rolex box to go along with it? The watch was given to me with nothing included. What all do they give after they finish the work? Thanks for the help!

I had an overhaul done and they just gave me mine back in a plastic bag. I don't know if they do this with everyone.

You can ask your AD for anything.........they might, but it is unlikely as they are probably just as controlled as other inventory.. Most AD's do not give it back in anything except the envelope or bag they use to keep all the parts together.
But you know, most AD's do a Rolex overhaul for about the same price as having it sent to an RSC where you will get a service box back and a Rolex Service paper and warranty.

Thank you, thank you. Ouups, a hologram. What should I do with it? Keep it or pull it off? Ok I pull out The Idaho Hologram Remover. No problem with correct tools, it will be in one piece. This looks real nice. Respect. Should I dare to take one. Of course, I´m no sissy. LOL Mmmmmmmm. Melting like butter, taste like the look of the YMII. LOL Jocke

I've received two watches back from Rolex UK service in expanded polystyrene boxes with the Rolex logo embossed on them

When my Sub went into the Toronto RSC, it came back in a beautiful hinged, hard case with a padded lid. Nancy's vintage went in a few months later and it got shipped back in your basic cardboard Rolex Service box. ??????
I called Rolex and it went something like this: Why is there a difference in the boxes the watches were returned in? Rolex travel cases are only supplied if the repair is over $1,000 or if its an all gold watch. It is an all gold watch, albeit a small ladies vintage. Please hold...... pause pause pause .....since you have sent several watches in for service recently (3 in less than a year, actually) our manager has authorized us to send you a Rolex travel case and polishing cloth, on a one time only basis. Than' yuh, than' yuh ver' much, Ma'am.
