Sorry, I don't know if 'after market' is the correct term but basically what I meant is that I purchased the watch from a local watch shop and not a Rolex AD. This watch shop probably got it from the AD or bought it from someone who just bought it from an AD for retail and then resold it to me for a small profit. (Hope I make sense!)

Congrats. A Daytona with filled in papers is going for the low 9's in th US.

i see.maybe the right term for it is UNUSED ss daytona. but the V serial number make it sounds good! M and V serial nos.are basically the latest manufactured rolex around nowadays.
