PAM 306 ~ Tourbillon

The AD phoned today and told me they got one of these babies in .... the PAM 306.

Now this model is not what one would exactly call "cheap"....

Its got a "hefty" pricetag.

They said its for a client in another provence.... so my natural next question was : "What does the guy do,own the provence ??"

I may visit them over the weekend and have a look at PAM 306.I will take some pics and post them here .

Meanwhile some "stolen" pics .....

I think I tried that one on at a Panerai Rep sponsored AD event. Can't remember for sure, but it was a luminor tourbillon.

I actually didn't care for it that much. REAAAAAALY light for the size. Felt weird.

It really has to be seen in person to be fully appreciated. I really liked the platinum radiomir tourbillon however i felt it to be to pricey and difficult to justify to the wife. That is a lot of money to be tied up in a watch in todays times.

tour..

indeed a hefty tag on that model .. there's one for sale on the paneristi site... well over the budget what i ever would spend on a watch. I prever a more visible tourbilon on a watch . however would not go with the Pam appearance.. IMHO.. a fine example of watchmaking do , but not sure how much added accuracy it gives to modern calibers..

Whoever buys that, I think he will put it in his showcase or display windows. Unless he wears the watch with the case back facing up, he will never enjoy the Tourbillon view whenever he wears it!

No?

All he has to do is to be totally mesmerized by that blue dot circling every 30 secs!

Panerai should have created transparent dial with that showcase part shown in frontal glory.

I think this and the 276 are stunning

Panerai purposefully hid the Tourb signatures so only true lovers would know whats behind the curtain

I think you were to buy a pan tourby, the coolest def is the radiomir toubillion in platinum. Now that is a watch. Anyone know how much the Radiomir Tourbillion costs?

I was quoted 140k for the platinum and 120k for the titanium. If I was not waiting for my FER24 i might have considered it.

You guys are so lucky that you have things like that to sell.....

I have to sell my ARM to get it, but I wonder if that is enough for those prices.
