Day date 40 yellow gold white face

Hey everyone - looking for your opinion on what a good price from an AD would be for a day date 40.
I recently sold my datejust II and I have a decent relationship with my AD. I've bought 2 rolexes for myself and 2 for family members from them in the past - all with 15% of MSRP.

However, it has been about 3 years since I have bought something and I feel like rolex has changed a lot. Can I still try for a similar price or is 15% off a thing of the past?
Thanks

I was offered around 15 percent off on a dd40 from an AD on a instock watch. I think 15 is a completely reasonable peecent if not then save more money buy from davidsw or another AD. Davidsw has them from 29ish up to 31k new In box full plastics which also means you can get your name on warranty card if it says unworn full plastics on description.

i would aim for 20% and take the best you can get between 15-20 if you are set on going with an AD

David sw has one for 28.9 right now new in box full plastics. Save way more than 20 percent have it in your hands by Friday. No i am not affiliated with david sw! I have bought from him and his product is top notch! I was amazed to get 2 watches with my name on warranty card for below retail. When I buy another dd40 I will go this route why spend 34-35 when I can pay 29-30 no Brainer

The last DD I bought was a 118235. Ordered it while I was on vacation after seeing it in the showcase of a Caribbean AD. They would barely budge on price shockingly. Called up my AD in the States as I walked out of the Caribbean Rolex Boutique. Got 32.5% off and they shipped it to my hotel the next day for delivery.

I just got one BNIB from an AD for 27,8. They had to order and it took 2 weeks.
