Lack of dealers at watch fairs

While talking to my vintage watch dealer, he mentioned that instead of there being 2000+ dealers from all over Europe at the regular EU watch fair he go's to. They struggled to get 800.

He also said that a fair few were battening down the hatches and sourcing from their own country, as the leveling off of currency and the poor rate of the UK £ were leaving UK dealers poorer in the pocket.

He then politely told me his prices were going to have to go up. To which I equally politely replied ,there lots more fish in the sea!'

Nearly end of conversation!!!!
