What is your first watch ever......with pics

I bought this Casio Calender 79QS-39 brand new in the 80’s. Threw it in my tool box and forget about it, years later since now I am into watches and found my first watch. I cleaned it up new strap, battery and bam still works. Brings back some memories.

Let’s see your very first watch..........

In 1959, my grandparents gave me a Lord Nelson for Christmas.

I'm afraid that I don't have any pictures to share.

My first watch was 1978 and was a Casio, not sure the model. Given to me by my grandfather for my tenth birthday.
Sorry, no pictures.

I still have my very first watch. My father gave me this one in 1969 when I was six. I'm still partial to divers.

No pic but it was back in the 60's and it was a Lucerne dive watch with a black rubber strap.

Amazing how I can still see it so clearly in my minds eye. Loved that watch.

No pictures but my first watch was a Timex divers on rubber strap. I was 6 years old. I thought it was the coolest thing in the world to have a watch that I could get wet. I think it was water resistant up to 3 ATM which was way deeper than our pool :).

My father bought it for me when I was a kid in the late 70's. Original everything. It is obvious I didn't wear much. I love the NASA like font on the dial. Still runs fine. Strap is tiny as it is for a child.

I had the exact same one!!!!

WOW, I haven't thought about that in, what, 40 years?!

Last I remember it was in a cigar box with metal army men figurines in my parent's attic.

Crazy.

This one. Still have it though it hasn’t run or been worn in a long time. I remember how cool I thought I was when I got it, doesn’t seem very cool now :)

No pics sorry. I think my first was a Mickey Mouse watch. Dad gave me a Zodiac Dive watch when I was 13, that was my first nice/Swiss watch. Actually a funny story. My mom bought it for him for his birthday, but he really wanted a Omega Seamaster. So he gifted it to me and got the SM. Nice WIS move dad. Sold her on the idea that I would learn about taking care of something special...I gave it back to my mom in my early 20's when I got my first Rolex and she wore it fairly regularly back then. I believe she still has it. I may need to reacquire that baby next time I go see her...

Not my pic, but I still have it (in a box somewhere). My parents blame this watch for me not learning how to read a real clock when I was in elementary school. >>>
