Jaeger-Lecoultre Master Ultra Thin Moon 39 Black Dial Box and Papers

For sale is my JLC Master Control Ultra Thin Moonphase. The papers are dated Dec 7, 2015 and are unnamed.

The watch has a date and moonphase complication.

The watch is in excellent, near mint condition. I can’t find a single scratch on the watch. I purchased it from my friend who is a Rolex collector. I’ve bought several Rolex pieces from him, most recently the 1680 MK1 dial that I listed here. This was his only non-Rolex piece and he said he’s barely ever worn it.

This model was introduced at Basel World 2015. It came in a silver dial and a black dial. The black is harder to find and retails at a higher price than the silver. The diameter of the case is 39mm not including the crown and it is 9.9mm thick.

The leather strap is the original one that came with the watch and has very, very little signs of wear, if any.

The main feature of this Jaeger Calibre 925 movement is its certification, the ‘Master Control 1000 Hours’, meaning that it is tried and tested on precision and reliability for 1,000 hours (nearly 6 weeks). The Manufacture tests and certifies finished watches, reproducing the conditions of real life wear, and not only movements like the COSC can do.

The watch is a real stunner, with a subtle feel and a very dramatic look.
