It's wierd Paul, The Rad measures 1mm larger, but with the wire lugs, the stylized crown, the thinner casing, the Rad's actually feel/wear smaller on the wrist.

I had made a post earlier about a coleague I had a meeting with. He was wearing a fake PP. But admitted he liked watches, but didn't want to spend the $$ on one. ( an accountant , okay)
I was wearing my 005, I took it off & he looked it over.
So today, after about a month, he calls me. He was excited as he researched the brand and was still raving about it's simple yet elegant styling. He even knew the military history behind the brand.
This is just another reason I love my Panerais

BTW, I think I alluded to this in another post, but when I had lunch with Al on Monday, he tried on the 01 and it actually looked good on his wrist. Like really good. He said 44 was too big for him, but I disagree.

Anyways, fast-forward a day and we're in Jubilee Jewellers here in town, moving past the Cartier counter, past the B & M counter, to the Rolex counter and Al commented something to the fact that the simple, bold dial of my 01 is growing on him, and that he may have to see how a 40mm looks and feels on his wrist.

I think he may come over to the dark side.

There's definitely something brewing there mate (and I'm not referring to my stomach after the Poutine either!).

I'm just impressed I didn't gag when it was sitting on the table across from me.
