Another NATO strap question

I've searched and found some great pictures and I would like to get a NATO strap to change things up from time to time. Esp with my more then active lifestyle.

My question is what size should I look for to fit my DRSD? 20mm?

Thanks!!

Simple just measure between the lugs then get the nearest size, but 20mm will be fine.

Thanks!! Just ordered a "Bond" and an all black one.

Was also thinking of getting a "Paracord" one just because I think those are cool, but not sure how it will look. I just think with all the stuff I do (skydiving, diving, wakeboarding, snowboarding, etc) that I will have less of a chance of messing something up. It will keep the original bracelet in good condition and always looking nice when I switch it up for something a little more formal.

Hahaha Yeah I've read some older NATO posts with him jumping in and showing his... well lets just say "displeasure" when it comes to the NATO. To each their own I guess. I do admit it does take away a little from the overall "Rolex" thing, but for some I think it has more to do with functionality. If you are using it as a true sport watch then I dont see a problem with it. I guess if you are a desk jockey and just doing it for show I could see why some people would frown on it, but even then like I said "to each their own". I actually think the Bond NATO looks very sweet and kind of says "Yeah its a Rolex, but its not going to go in my locker at the gym, or when I jump out of this plane or then I order it "Shaken not stirred"...

I have the full set of nato's but I have not yet used them on any of my Rolex watches.

I have the Royal Navy type fitted to my daily beater....A £25 GBP Lorus sports

If I ever manage to pick up a 5513 vintage sub then the Bond Nato will be fitted.

I don't get the NATO strap thing. SS bracelets and leather bands are much preferrable IMO.

For one I wouldnt want to take a leather band in the salt water that much. The SS bracelets also can get very dirty if you like to play in the mud. (I tend to go off-roading a few times a month) With something like a NATO you can just drop it in the wash or even just buy a new one if it gets too funky. Also re-sizing it doesnt become a factor. If I'm going diving I can easily change the size of the watch by just moving to another hole to fit over a wetsuit. Something you cant do as easy with a SS bracelet. Same goes for Snowboarding I can put the watch over some "under-gear" so I'm not fumbling with moving my jacket, then my sweatshirt, then my long sleeve T-shirt, then a thermal etc..

I like the look of the NATO for a bit of a change-up on a chunky sport watch, keeps things interesting.
I also would'nt wear leather for water or mud, but stainless cleans-up nicely under the tap with some soap and an old tooth brush.
