It was a matter of reassurance. So many great people chiming in on there thoughts and I get that sarcastic Internet tuff guy with his remarks. I appreciate it! As for everyone else thank you for your feedback.

It took me a long time to come around to the ceramic sub as I’m a vintage fan but I’ve bought a few new watches recently and I think the ceramic Submariner is the best, it matches anything you wear and the detail is amazing, if I was a one watch man this would be it

The ceramic Sub is awesome and the maxi case isn't a big deal. Its a matter of taste, not fact.

Buy THE Submariner (if you can get one). The reference 114060. Only watch you’ll ever need and no messing about with a date!

Submariner

I’ve got a 14060m and didn’t take to the maxicase sub at all for such a long time. In fact it looked all clumsy compared to the 5 digit sub. About 2 months ago I seen a six digit sub 116610LN in a grey dealers window and completely fell in love with it. I’ve no idea what happened to my thinking overnight. I sourced out a brand new 6 digit sub and absolutely love it.....I actually appreciate my 5 digit sub even more now.....absolutely love both 5 & 6 digit subs......you can’t fail with either one you choose. If I had to choose one of the the 2 I’d go with the 116610LN.

I owned both BLNR and SubC and they wear identical to me but the Sub a little too heavy. The case are identical.

I always thought the BLNR was slightly more tapered and it even felt smaller when I tried one on next to the ceramic no date, but looks like you're right. If there's any difference it's only a fraction of a millimeter identifiable at 10x magnification.

I like the maxi case would bet the Submariner will have the updated movement next year.

If you want timeless, instantly the 116610LN comes to mind. You can also find one relatively easy compared to the other hyped models. I wouldn’t worry about it getting updated, what more can they do besides a longer power reserve? I vote SubC Date.

The brick??
