If you feel the Sub is pushing the limit size-wise on what your eyes are telling you, you can always go with a GMT which will wear a little smaller due to the thinner lugs, or go with a vintage Sub which will definitely wear smaller than a modern maxi-case Sub.

Sub looks great. Depends more on how tall/broad you are than wrist size alone. I too Alhambra a 7” wrist, but am a pretty big guy, so anything less than 40mm starts looking a bit like a toy on me

I'm pretty certain the YM is 37mm not 36. I also see the 37mm looking better on your wrist. On the other hand the Sub is a more tradable watch and I'd believe easier to sell should the time come.

40mm looks better on you.
I too have 7" wrists, and I find 36mm looks too small on me.

Yeah the 40 yachmaster would look perfect

I think the Sub looks way better on you. And I am not opposed to 36-39mm watches, but the Sub looks better.

I have a 6.5” wrist and my smallest reference is 40mm.
To me, they look great. Don’t really care what others think.

Sub looks and fits much better, the YM looks too small on your wrist. FWIW, I have 6" wrists and were the 39mm Exp1. SubC no date is my next hunt. Did you try on the 40mm YM if you like that style better over the sub?

I don't really consider a 7" wrist to be a "small" wrist. I think you can probably wear just about anything. Both pieces shown above look excellent on you. Maybe those huge Sea Dweller Deep Sea 43mm monsters might be a little overwhelming on your wrist, but my guess is that there are plenty of guys walking around with 7" wrists who are even wearing those.
