New Radiomir 8 Day, Questions
Hey Panerai people, I recently added a Radiomir 8 Day 268 to the arsenal, a week later I am even more impressed by the watch than first time I laid eyes on it. I’d like to keep that novelty alive as long as possible. I’m completely new to Panerai but I’ve heard they can be customized with a wide variety of after-market straps and buckles.
So my question is; what accessories would you recommend for this specific watch and which suppliers do the best work (I’ve heard the name Rob Montana)? Thanks so much for any advice you can offer. (My camera is MIA, wrist shots as soon as I find it. In the meantime I pulled some pictures off Google) http://bp0.blogger.com/_UTeQhQcvdNU/...-h/pam268j.jpg http://www.menswatchreview.com/wp-co...ai-pam-268.jpg (Apparently I can't embed images so here's a couple links) Last edited by Neuromancer; 22 January 2009 at 12:48 AM.. Also, you can embed pics, but you need to put the tags of [ i m g ] [ / i m g ] around it (take out spaces). put your link inbetween the tags like such... [ i m g ] http : //picture link would go here [ / i m g ] And here is the result...

268 is nice, i modded mine with a simona blue gator strap, with an ecru stitching to match the off white #'s... also got vintage calf interior for comfort..
i think rad's look best with croco/gator and luminors best with calf as they are more rugged.. i like the 190 better as its jlc movement but it all depends if u like jlc and if u like PR on back.. here is simona bordeaux gator on 190... similar looking watch but just showing you color diff and how it still mends well. |

also a neat fact..
wind your 268 until you feel a "stop" do not wind past the "stop" tho.. ull notice u can wind a little bit past "full" then dont wind it again until the watch stops... you'll notice its almost 10 days of power reserve versus the 8 u thought ;-) watch is actually setup to run 240 hours but its accurate section is the middle 8 days.. their is an extra day on either end of scale.. top one ull run a lil fast and bottom a little slow... |

Blue croco is the bomb Riley. Grey isn't bad either SL. What is the first name there?
