Need advice from you! matching pair watch..

Hi ya'll !

I got a contract on my house this weekend, and now I can officially look into getting something nice for my parents with my ever-losing-value-against-yen dollar I have.

Here's the thing: My father has TT DJ that he NEVER wears. He keeps it in the bank safe. I think it's because he doesn't like it being the TT.
I thought about getting a rose gold TT DJ in lady's size for my mom, so they'll have a matching set, but then again, if my dad isn't wearing his... what good would that be?

So, my wife and I have been looking around, and we concluded that SS watch would increase the change of getting more wrist time on them.

Here's some of the options we're thinking: remember, this is for 'non-watch enthusiasts' so more recognizable the brand name is, better.

a. Cartier Tank Francaise (mid and ladies size, quartz)

b. Rolex Air-King (36mm and ladies size, the bare-bone model)

c. Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra (mens and ladies, quartz or auto)

d. Any other suggestions???

I know, the price range is bit wide... but there's not much choices out there for his/her watch.

Pros/Cons:

a. Unique style, not too expensive / looks kinda feminine

b. Rolex / expensive, no date

c. great value for swiss auto / bland looking, co-axial movement

I personally like the Omega because it can take more beating, and price is low. Not that I can't afford the Rolex, I can, just that they may not feel as inclined to wear them if they had the "Rolex" on them.
Cartier is cool looking, but very feminine, and price is pretty steep for quartz watch.

What do you guys think? I am not sure if I have enough time to shop around too much, since I'm leaving on 2/18.

I'm all ears... I would LOVE to hear your suggestions.

THANK YOU ! in advance.

Look in to a couple of DJ (SS) that match or (Date) models that match.

X2. In fact, that's what I'm looking into for my mom and dad.
