He gets them from overseas. A lot of Trusted Sellers get their watches from European countries that don’t have as strong of an economy as we do.

This must be a joke I travel a bit and the European countries have nothing. The AD in Orlando was telling me they are trying to find out how he gets them themselves. They said they had an idea. It came up when I asked them how come he gets watches quicker and easier then they do.

I'd like to visit the store when I'm in Florida in about 2 weeks, try on some models, see about doing a deal in person.

Love the GMT and the color combo. Glad the transaction went well. I've read nothing but good things about him. Congrats!

First one from DavidSW

Nice watch, but so ridiculous how always so many members needs to comment „how great“ this david is. Or does he pay all these guys?

I’m in San Diego - Bought a Mk 1 50th anniversary Sub on late Thursday evening off his site. Had it in my hands 930 am Friday morning. Couldn’t be happier with the watch.

Good reputation for customer service and inventory. I can't comment on his prices, I know they usually seem pretty high when I look but I've never tried to strike a deal.

Has any one that's lives in the UK ordered off him? would you have to pay any import duty?
if so...surly that would be a deal breaker! he looks way cheaper than Watchfinder UK

If you are stick with the correct policy you would have to add 20% VAT and any additional custom charges.

I was in Orlando area and decided to call his store for information about their hours. The girl who answered the phone was very rude. So I didn’t go

Guess I'm the only one in the world to not share such glowing sentiments.

I bought my SD43 from him back in May. I got the watch for the listed price but that's all I can say.

No receipt. Called and asked for one, so they sent me an appraisal.

Called again. They acted like they didn't understand what I needed. An invoice, receipt, Bill of sale. Finally got it.

Oh, I also didn't get the plastic bezel cover that comes with the set. A small thing but the watch was unworn and I paid the price commensurate with that. Asked for it twice and never received.

Never a thank you or kind word. So I got the watch. That's all I can say.

I mean, an appraisal from the seller?? What's a receipt? Gimme a break.

Not sure if it's a joke. But I purchased two watches from greys here in the USA and both warranty cards were from Europe.

I find David S prices to be on the high side. Heard he has great customer service but he's prices kept me away.

I hear great thinks about David SW but often find Bob’s Watches prices a bit better - anyone ever dealt through Bob’s Watches? Thanks.

A couple of questions about David.

1. Not my business where he gets them but can they be done illegally? Bought from stolen market or unauthorized party gets their hands on them and sells to David?

2. How do we know for sure all of a sudden they are not authentic? That is a concern of mine. Will he allow a week to confirm authenticity? Would an AD be able to corner authenticity?

3. If you get from a grey like David does the warranty card not be applicable to me if I show I need servicing?
