Where are all
The 20 year old APs? Do they just disintegrate?? LOL. Why don’t I ever see one posted here?? I LOVE the brand, but worried that they just don’t hold up long term. Can any AP experts chime in.

Not an AP expert, but a good bit of 14790st's do pop up on this forum. Also, AP RO's werent as popular 20 years ago and they still made a lot of dress watches, which no one wants anymore unfortunately. And in general, people nowadays don't like 36mm watches.

Plenty of people rocking 5402s and they look great. Those are 40+ years old. You’re overthinking it.

My “antique” ROO 25770s are my longest standing watches in my collection and other than some scratches still work flawlessly after nearly 20 years and have never been serviced.

Were lots of 42 ROOs knocking about and 15300s, but the updates to the 44 ROOs and the 15202 anniversary and the 15400 have been so popular that they have taken up much of the oxygen, AP are an innovative brand as opposed to traditional Rolex so stands to reason.

Yeah AP is a brand that always moved forward for better or worse. That is why they rarely remake past versions of their watches except in extremely limited quantities (15202, 25th Anniversay Offshore). Kinda makes their older watches more unique/rare i guess |
