I am a bit on the fence with this one. One one hand, some AD’s will sell a Rolex with stickers and some people keep stickers on their watches especially if they are not daily wears.

On the other hand, I would typically recommend walking away from any Rolex purchase that I did not feel 100% comfortable with.

Well that's scary.

Just to be clear, I would never add any stickers on to a watch or in anyway make the watch seem new when it wasn’t.
Again, any questions please don’t hesitate to ask

Whats weird about it, all the original stickers are present on the watch, the ones on the bracelet, the bar code on the side, the back sticker, all of them, like it was just purchased. My friend asked the seller maybe pictures were old and they from when watch was purchased, but seller said no and that he wears his watches with all original stickers.

Anyone else does that? Because that sounds a bit absurd to me.

Thanks.
It is absurd, and it's highly unlikely that the actual situation is as described. Although it could be true, the chances are very small, you're not in a position where you need to gamble.

Walk away and find a deal that looks right and smells right.

I remove all stickers except the case back one just so I can see how long it lasts. Stickers are stupid unless you are a flipper or you are not sure your like it and want to sell later.

Ruslan1987, please confirm the username matches identically to mine, also recently my account was locked for possibly being hacked (obviously it has since been unlocked with help from Moderators and the TRF owner/admin clearing it). I include my phone number in every listing and I make it a point to try to talk over the phone to every person I sell to or buy from. I think it makes things more personal and easier on everyone’s nerves knowing the other person is actually a real person. Plus, I meet a lot of really cool people, some of which I’ve kept in contact with to talk watches every once and awhile. Getting back to the subject, unless I’ve talked to you in person and I don’t believe I have, you weren’t talking to CSwatch3945 but rather some one trying to imitate me. I pride myself on being completely transparent, honest and upfront. I will gladly answer anyone’s questions in a public thread or private message.
(Just please notify me via message if asking in a public thread so I know where to reply)

Thank you,
CSwatch3945
Oh my. Good catch, Sir!

I left the stickers on till they started to peel off, and off they came, one by one.

I just took the last 2 off, 2 years after I got the watch.

They delayed the inevitable scratches and small dings.

Depending on how many watches he has, not to weird at all. My 116500 Daytona is still fully stickered as well as my 114060 Sub.

Not weird at all? lol you should get that checked out.

I don't care how many watches one has, wearing them with stickers on is not normal.

When it comes to stickers I feel like there are two very distinct sides. Personal use watches and dealer stocked watches. The first is simple, for personal use just do whatever you want, take them off or let them fall off naturally, whatever floats your boat because you are in no way impacting anyone else. However for a dealer, there are a ton of definitions “stickers” means, I can’t speak for all but for me “with stickers” is the highest level of mint there is. It means this Watch was never worn other than possibly for the AD to adjust the bracelet (some AD’s insist on fitting it) and even then it should be stated in the listing that it is “adjusted but never worn”. Applying stickers to make it seem like the AD never removed them is deceptive in my opinion.

The presence of original stickers also indicates that a watch has not been polished

Very true, original stickers intact is a sure fire confirmation that it’s never been polished. However when there are no stickers (regardless of reason) 90% of the time you can tell just by feeling the edges, for that last 10% a loupe is incredibly hard to fool.

I can understand a seller test driving. Sure. *Disregard. Reading on it sounds like the guy you're actually in contact with isn't someone you want to deal with.
