Tudor Ranger II's
I have always loved this watch... seems like the 9111's with the orange hand and explorer dial brings in the big bucks ($3k); however, none on ebay ever really sell.
What is the story with these? There appear to be some Ranger II's that do not have that nice orange handset. They look more like datejusts. i think these are the 9101s. Then there is the one currently listed on ebay that has the explorer dial - and no orange hands and is marked 9101 on the back. any of you familiar enough with these to set the record straight - are the 9111s the only ones that should bear the more attractive design? i just think that the tudor rangers have become too difficult to buy online due to the number of fakes out there. Be careful!
LOTS of fakes out there and parts (aka FrankenWatches) watches going around
