rolex jubilee band: crown on clasp.
I'm still confused on this subject:
Did Rolex make jubilee bands with a small crown stamped into the bottom of the clasp? I've seen it here discussed before. If indeed they did can someone post an image? I ask because I had a chance to purchase several Rolex jubilee bands this weekend at the clock and watch collectors show and passed on one because it had the crown on it. Thanks! ...good thing...
...you passed on the one SHOWN. The one shown is an obvious FAKE-pay particular attention to the circle on the bottom of the crown in the coronet-it should be more flat than what is pictured.
...there are in fact genuine Jubilee bands with the "extra" crown. This has been verified by springer thru a RSC. They look like what you have pictured, but the differences between genuine and fake are obvious. ...hope this helps. Stan. ...here is a pic of a genuine-notice the flat circle on the bottom of the crowns. |

Thanks for the image.
The one shown was for reference only. Can you tell me if all hinge pins have mushroomed ends or if there are some that are pins with raw edges. Thanks |

Yes, I remember the discussion with the 'extra' crown.
Thanks for the comparison photo. |
