Thanks; and yes, me too!

I figured one must have a Submariner, I've always liked the five-numeral references best (both for smaller size and price - at least back then, and I figured the LV gave the "plain" sub a bit of "POP".

But, for 11-12 large, which is where the LV range seems to start for good pieces from trusted sellers - no thanks. I'll probably just look for a nice LN date.

Im in the same boat Alan. Didn't post much here and had a 16710 I bought in 2010 and sold in 15. I also had a Sub and Explorer. A co-worker bought a Yacht Master, got the bug again and have been in the rabbit hole of the current madness. I just bought 3 16710's in a damn panic. Back in 2010 I believed the GMT was the best model hands down when no one cared and were fawning over the disproportionately larger new Rolex.. Everyone else got the memo evidently.

Me, too, in late 2012. Glad I did.
