Looks fake to me. The types of shots he/she chose to take kind of give it away. Demand a dead on shot of the dial, the date is usually a giveaway.

According to their website they measure the genuine article with a laser to create a 1:1 match, even of most of the movement, and even use 904L steel.

It is likely the case that they know exactly what is wrong with the piece but at the price point ($1,350) they can't fabricate it 100% correctly and still make a profit.

Fakes

I have seen a handful of fakes over the years in person. But, usually not with an attempt at a Rolex serial numbered card matching the watch. Thats great that the replica market is going to this length now.

Back to buy the seller not the watch

Pictures are highly suspect, I don't know how people in 2019 cant take proper pictures of for sale items.

Also a few people are 100% certain its fake, based on this I'll have to agree.

Always number 1 tip is to "buy the seller"

The font on the fold out of the box is awful, it looks like a child drew it!

Would he have the receipt from Tourneau or would that most likely be a fake?

Easy to check. Just call Tourneau with the receipt number and confirm authenticity.
