Because "The Rolex Way" is all about simple and realiable. When they were able to create a simple and reliable annual calendar, they released the SkyDweller.

Again what is the point? Where is the market for it? And heading into recession doesn’t seem like the best time to even be thinking about something like that. And as the public is ever turning away from mechanical watches and moving further towards smart watches it just doesn’t even remotely make any economical sense to introduce something like this to their range. |
