Tudor S&G 79733N - Any Love?

I have a Black Bay 58 which I love, but I do wish it had a date complication.

The S&G 79733 is a bit bigger overall than the BB58, but it does have a date window and it has most of the same colour scheme of the BB58.

Any fans of the S&G out there who can share their experiences? It is too thick/heavy/blingy or not?

Thanks.

Personally I really like it just hate the hour hand change that to Mercedes and it’s the deal of the century

Also interested in opinions as I am on the cusp of purchasing one. Have there been any issues with the date complication like on the early GMTs? Any concern that the folded gold links and crown may wear away over time?

In real life the brushed gold is not at all blinky, looks more like a brighter bronze than yellow gold.

The case is indeed thicker than the 58 and if that would bother you perhaps you'll need to try it on and get a feel of it. Unlike the 58 it's a hefty watch.

Nope, no issue with the date at all in the 2+ years I've had mine.
And thus far the gold midlinks are holding up well. And given the thickness of the gold sleeve I doubt that would ever be a problem.

I like it, just think its too close to my TT Black Sub. If I didn't have the Sub, I think I'd pick one up.

One of my favorites, and I don't normally care for two tone. Personally I prefer it on the leather or fabric straps as opposed to the bracelet.

Went to an AD a couple months ago to check out the new bronze release with the gradient gray face. Didn't like it in person as much as the pictures. While I was there I tried this one on with the leather strap and haven't stopped thinking about it since. Guess that means I should go get one. I don't have big wrists and did not feel like it was too big and the gold is toned down enough that it does not have a 'blingy' appearance.

It’s nice. But if it wasn’t as thick as a hockey puck it would be a lot nicer imo. With the exception of the BB58 all the Tudor divers are thick as bricks. Wonder why they do that? Maybe Rolex dictates it so that Tudor doesn’t make too nice a watch

I actually prefer the champagne dial which is more flashy. Saw one in preown with 25% lower than retail price which tempting me.

The hockey puck size is my main concern.

In the AD, it doesn’t look too bad, but I wonder if after the honeymoon period is over the size is an issue or maybe you just get used to it

That's a tough one...It's borderline for me. Owned the S&G for a year and a half and really, really liked the colors and case diameter. The height though, especially looking between lugs while worn on a strap really bothered me at times.
Ended up selling it. Could have as well kept it.
