Thanks, guys, but you can still see a few scratches on the Yammy bezel in its first picture. Should have them buffed out at Mansor's.

No scratch, just pulling your chain.

Hey JJ, great pix, but in one pic the crown on the YM is at quite a different angle as in another. What's with that? Did the fake tube threads give a bit?

And did you notice that the crown on the Sub is upside down?

Further proof that these things are

What must have happened was I had unscrewed the crown to take some pics of the 'O'-ring and then probably did not screw it in all the way.

I normally avoid putting on too much torque once the crown is screwed in....should be just enough for the crown to stop and sit snug around the threads. Too much pressure tends to squash the little gasket inside the crown when it gets pressed against the upper rim of the stem.

JJ

That's funny that your Rolex needs to be threaded in, to be water proof.

My Panerai is waterproof to 300m and doens't need to be threaded in a all.

Actually I was referring to the fact that the Exp-II remained water resistant underwater in spite of the crown being left unscrewed.

I know... but what I'm saying is that since I haven't used it in two months, who's to say it still works?

Probably just send it off to the RSC and let them replace the case.
