Sandpaper & Rolex Explorer
This made me cringe. Granted not everyone cares the same for their Rolex... but still... sandpaper?

He didn't use much finesse and the nonlinear strokes will be odd looking, but...
Why does it bother you so much? It's steel. How do you you think it is handled and processed to get become so beautiful in the first place? As a reference, that would be one of the steps in making an amazingly reflective paint finish. If soft paint can handle it, surely the rugged, mountain climbing, proprietary, Explorer 904L steel can handle it. Don't mind the slight sarcasm. Cheers! |

Wow that's crazy! If anything use a grey (fine) scothbrite pad lightly and one way and I wouldn't even do that..

With the number of people getting into watches and wanting them looking new, videos like this are only the beginning.

Why not. 1000 grit is pretty fine, what they use on auto clear coat , Also finer than Scotch-Brite pad which people commonly use my brush surfaces.

Its the wrong grit. Most people use the green 3m sink sponge
And u don’t go back and forth. Should be one direction consistently |

While this wouldn't be my method of choice (especially the back and forth motion instead of one direction) at least he gets good use out of the Explorer. Seeing some people go through life scared to take packing stickers off bothers me more than this does.

We have to let that happen. It’s the natural selection process. If you are dumb enough to run sandpaper across your watch, we are smart enough to laugh at you. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Jool Tool it's ok so long you don't let the seller use it.
