Mikimoto Pearl Necklace Question
Hey Folks -
Both of my parents have passed away. One of my mom's wishes was that my wife get all of her jewelry. One piece, a Mikimoto pearl necklace (purchased by one of her beaus that was going over to serve in Japan) is way too small for my wife to wear (my mom was very petite). Is there any good way to turn this into a sweet pearl bracelet for her, or maybe sell the whole thing and get something else? We've called local jewelers and also Mikimoto direct and gotten pretty much wishy-washy answers. Any advice is welcome. Thanks! Btw, I hope this picture attaches - first time I'm using Tapatalk like this.20190917_184332.jpg Sent from my SM-G975U1 using Tapatalk |

Extend the clasp with some gold chain.

Mikimoto Pearl Necklace Question
Beautiful...I would not sell them. Perhaps make them into a bracelet? Have them restrung and add a different color pearl every so many of the current pearls? You can also source matching the current pearls to extend the length.

Mikimoto pearls are excellent quality. If you wife likes pearls consider having a good jeweler restring the pearls and add to them to extend the length.
