Can you be given a blank warranty card?

Hello TRF. I've just purchased a 3186 polar 16570 and got given a completely blank warranty card. Has this happened to anyone before?

It can definitely happen. Used to happen a lot more than it does these days. Your watch is probably 10+ years out of warranty, so it makes no difference. If you bought a card today with a blank warranty card, it typically indicates a gray market transaction and the warranty is most likely voided.

Thanks for the reply mate. Very interesting indeed. I've had 20+ rolex watches (of course not at once), and not one has been completely blank. This watch is random serial, so pretty much there is no way to no which year it is from then?

Thanks for getting in touch.

Fantastic watch! If I had to guess, it's probably from 2007. Let's see some pics.

If its a 8 digit random serial then case was stamped anytime from the latter part of 2010 on,as for the warranty its now a outdated bit of plastic.

A completely blank warranty card is most likely counterfeit, it is certainly worthless for any watch it comes with.

I also agree. That card should at least have the reference and serial number and the other info on the front of the card. The back, not so much.

Congratulations on the watch.

Me too. Never seen a blank rolex card. Unnamed, certainly; undated, some times; but without the ref no and serial for your V series, never.

I have a card stamped and dated but without name. Is this strange?

This might be a little different, maybe not.
When I bought a Tudor this year, a sale rep forgot to swipe the warranty card and had to chase me down the mall.
I think the warranty card could physically left bank (nothing written on it) but it needs to be swiped to register in the system.
