I think you nailed it, as I was initially surprised they didn't want to commit to an exact figure but it starts to make some sense when you list out all the variables in today's unusual market.

Not sure if this helps but I paid $950 for mine about 4 months ago. I can also tell you that I was charged $2300 for platinum tang and $7300 for platinum deployant clasp on previous purchases. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Thanks for the data point, does help. Sounds like the quote of $800-$1000 seems to be in line for the tang then. Was quoted $370 for a leather strap, only wish they had quick release bars as an option.

Sorry for the delayed reply. No, it's a one-off I believe -- a Little Lange 1 in a platinum case but with the same silver dial color and blue hands as the 101.027X. Here you can see them side by side:

Also, I see your profile says "Watch - 126660." This is the watch that I thought I'd rarely wear (ridiculous on my 6" wrist) but that I can't take off. Wearing it as I type this. Love it! |

Yes indeed, the trusty DSSD has been my daily for the past year plus. Arguably the best bracelet in its class and balanced well considering its comical thickness. Agreed, it fits a wide range of wrist sizes much better than most would anticipate. Glad to hear you're also enjoying yours as well! |

The SA gave you a range (vs. the actual price) for the buckle because Lange is in the midst of changing those accessory prices.

Service pricing may be changing as well. I believe last published price (2019) to service that watch was $1,180 without the case refurb and $1,720 with the case refurb.

Hey all, I'm thinking about adding either a datograph up/down in pt or a zeitwerk date as my next lange. For those that have owned both or have handled both I'm wondering which you prefer? I'm torn because I love the dial and the originality of the zeitwerk, but the dato is more wearable on my 16cm wrist and the caseback is just stunning.

I own a Dato and truly love it. It’s probably the one watch I’d never part with. It’s just a stunningly beautiful watch and I actually like what it represents. It’s a watch lover’s watch and It’s above the “hype” you see all over today. That said, the Zeitwerk Date is gorgeous if you have the wrist size to pull it off. It’s a BIG watch and really does not look good on those with smaller wrists. And that pains me to say as one that has small wrists. If you can pull off both it would be a very difficult choice and all I can recommend is you get what you love most. As a side note, Lange is suffering from a lot of Production delays. I don’t think either of these are available now or any time soon. If you want another Lange I might try and see what a boutique or AD can do for you, but if this is a one-off I’m pretty sure both models are right around MSRP on the secondary market. You’d likely at least save sales tax. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Seems like they will be launching the daymatic or perpetual calendar sort of Lange 1 with the reverse asymmetrical dial

Need some help. I’m trying to decide on my first ALS and have it narrowed down to these three. Which do you all like best?

Love the third one, but second one is easier to wear casually I'd say. First one is nice, just a little bit more cluttered with all the information

Out of your list I’d go for the PCC. Generally, I’d always go for the first gen Dato in that range. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Is the PCC a first gen as opposed to the other two? What makes the first gen different than the current gen? I seem to recall the first gen is smaller in size. Is that correct? They’re all stunning, by the way. I’d have a real tough time deciding between those three if they were all available to me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I like the third one too. But I’m biased.

Try the ZW Dato on; but I agree with others it might be a little large for 16cm. They are both beautiful pieces Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Quick question. Do you prefer the older or newer movement of the Zeitwerk?
