Just curious how the quick change system feels and how it holds up. How's the finishing compares to the 15510 nautilus? When I handled the 1st and 2nd generation I felt that it was slightly behind AP and Patek but not by much. Haven't handled an overseas since the3rd Gen was just released 6 years ago

You mean 15510 AP? I haven’t handled APs too much. But I have handled the nautilus a lot. I had the 5712 and have the 5726-014.

I freakin love the QC system on the bracelet.

If your wrist can handle the flare out, the QC makes the actual lug to lug larger for both the OEM rubber and bracelet.

The leather/ gator can be pulled tighter. I heard the 3rd party rubber is softer so it actually bends around the smaller wrists:

With regards to bracelets between the overseas and nautilus; the OS is thicker but I would say os less finished .

The clasp is way easier to use (close and open) on the OS

Price increase happened in Japan (7.9%) and UK (9%) on overseas.

Just got this today. Love it! Had the dual time in silver, never really clicked with it though.

Congrats, looks great!

I'm contemplating getting a black strap for my Rose Gold with Silver Dial, something has been holding me back and I should probably just go for it!

That's a good color combo. A dark chocolate would be nice too, but not sure VC makes one of those.

Actually it comes with dark brown / chocolate colored straps which does look great, but I do tend to wear clothes that would match black a bit better.

I really really like it on anything other than the original brown strap.

I am a big believer in using dress watches for things other than wearing I suit and going custom on the strap adds some fun.

From a watch perspective, it has just the right amount of complications to remain interesting and not too busy.

I love it.

Love the triple calendar, and I believe it's also fairly priced.

VC needs to do a better job with marketing. It's too Overseas centric right now, and there is so much more VC has to offer.

Really? I rarely see their website or social media promote the Overseas

Maybe it’s more correct that the only social media etc promotion is overseas. I can say I’m not sure I’ve seen much of anything else almost ever.

Totally agree. 9 out of 10 posts is for the blue dial 4500V.

On another note, I was in Monaco and visited the VC boutique there about a week ago. Very little on display, but they had a Fiftysix (3-hander) in rose gold with the brown dial. Never considered looking at it before but tried it on for the hell of it. Absolutely gorgeous piece.

Apparently the rose gold version has enhanced movement finishing vs. the SS also. I briefly thought about buying it but figured I might find one cheaper on the grey market. Haven't really seen any floating around at a good price and now I'm kicking myself for not getting it.

Especially with low euro and VAT refund it can be a good deal to buy directly from the boutique

They don't need to overtly. When I say everything is Overseas, I mean it's the only watch that is talked about in the public, because that's the only one people actually know about and have read about. It's really VC's job to show the public the other watches they have to offer and to start conversations and demand about them.
