That’s generally true but they have a list of restricted models that the OP was added to, all colours. Green day dates for example also but some of those definitely got swapped

Now 35k - OP 41 Turquoise Tiffany

I have a pending deal (me deciding) straight trade for a black 116500....generally conflicted as I love this piece and have huge thing for turquoise anything. I have never had so many compliments on ANY watch ever. But on the other hand been trying to get a 116500 since 2017. First world problems!

Don't do it, man. They should give you the DAYTONA AND 7 or 10 k on top based on condition. The op is worth More now

Sorry but many here don't give the best advice. I'm not going to speculate all their intentions, but some are done, many of them somewhat jealous and disgruntled, don't give the best advice. I'm not saying those are the people giving you advice, but absolutely in my experience, from what I've seen, that is exactly part of the route reason.

There was a similar thread where someone proposed the idea of the op41 turquoise and the BLRO. Do you know what most people said?!? Trade for the BLRO Pepsi. Lol!!

I HAVE PEPSI, AND IT'S ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PIECES IN THE CATALOG, BUT I PERSONALLY WOULD NOT DO THAT TRADE NOT A FAIR TRADE. No way!

With OP 41 Tiffany, and Daytona, it's a little closer, still not the right move in my opinion at the side.

When I had issued with my ceramic panda Daytona and poor experience a few scratches ONLY SCRATCHES), I was pissed off about it, do you know how many people told me to go back and to return it to get my $13,000 back at my AD?! Do you have any idea of how many forum numbers repeatedly suggested that I will back and get $13 cash for a $30,000 watch ( at the time) literally the worst advice you can get in the circumstances, for various reasons actually.

Not to be dramatic, I enjoy the overwhelming majority of the members here, but literally PLEASE KINDLY READ my above paragraph to yourself another one or two times, digest it, and then think twice when someone gives you advice here.

Good luck on your decision

Ok my bad, thank you. Just to add when I was buying one of these a couple of months ago I checked a serial number with Rolex and they told me it was a silver dial not turquoise. So I would advise caution. As to whether it matters much whether a watch has had a dial swap not sure most buying these would care

Yes almost imparitive to have the hang tag to distinguish the original color as there is a 3 digit color code on it. Turqouise is 124300-006. You're going to see alot of these with dial changes now but they will all be aftermarket

This is just madness. Daytona going for $40k+ I understand (Daytonas have always been hard to get). But now a $5900 OP? Mind. Blown.

Always was not intended to be taken literally. Poor choice in vocabulary and my mistake.

I think you meant "preference" rather than choice. And "locution" rather than vocabulary. And "error" rather than mistake.

did rolex tell you whether the turquoise dial on your OP is a genuine rolex dial or not? i think its ok as long as the dial is a genuine one even its not the same dial when out of the factory.

I don't think rolex will sell ANYONE a genuine turquoise dial unless it was warranty work and proven original with serial..

To answer both - yes mine is confirmed genuine via RSC though as it is fully stickered I think it was pretty sure it was ok anyhow.

Rolex won’t let any dials go out if their service network and now for service/swap will only replace on same colour basis as originally supplied

Crazy price indeed, but I will not sell mine. Maybe if I was in a position where I needed cash, but that is not the case. I like the watch and never intended on selling for a profit when I purchased it.

Secondary prices may ebb and flow but I couldn't care less; I get too much enjoyment from wearing them.

Thinking the same. Unless it really is a unicorn and I can trade up to an aquanaut or something.

that means the RSC swapped the silver dial with a turquoise dial to your OP, and now RSC is not going to do this kind of dial swap anymore?

This was another one I checked which was for sale in Europe before I bought mine. I don’t know whether that one was swapped by Rolex or even a fake

I would be very wary about purchasing this timepiece on the secondary, Grey Market, honestly.

The incentive to swap dials, weather for factory or aftermarket is very high. And the authentication process is not the easiest.

There was a very popular post here on trf about a buyer who bought from a trusted seller, and it ended up being a fake timepiece.

I am surprised rolex will check the factory dial of a watch for someone just giving them a serial number on phone! this is not possible in Japan.
