I still have a few of the old cartridges it came with oh so long ago but don't use them. The Platinum adapter to use standard International Cartridges does work with it as does a Platinum converter. Today's watch is one of my Samsung Gear "S" models; the first watch with it's own SIM card. |

Love the colors in this pen!

Reading a classic novel with a pen in hand. Waterman Le Man 100 from 1988. Given to me as a gift 3 years ago.

I purchased my first Solitaire in Munich Germany to commemorate my first trip to Bavaria.
Still love that pen. Even though it's just a BP.

Been using this little beauty today. I believe it is an original as you can see from the high quality makers name etched in to the pen but if anyone believes it to be a fake please let me know. It isn’t working as well as it used to but once this Covid situation lifts I will be looking to send it to the UK Bic RSC or if anyone can recommend some independent Bic service specialists in Northern England I may consider that instead. Thanks everyone- keep writing and stay safe!

Thanks - I’m not the original owner, I borrowed it from a colleague who in an astounding act of generosity said I could keep it afterwards. I don’t have the original box and papers but the condition of it is excellent - it appears to never have been polished and unusually for this model, the end of it shows no sign of having been chewed.
Any idea what kind of trade in value I could get for this against some of the more recognised luxury brands of pens shown in this excellent thread? |

Mont Blanc 149 for me today. This is an early 80s model with a fine nib which has served me well for many years. Pure delight to write with

Does anyone make their own. My son just made this one the other day on our new lathe. Great fun and you appreciate everything. Provides great bonding time too!

Gorgeous pens here. It's too bad the younger generation doesn't write very much with everything on computer. Sort of like opera and classical music. I think the schools should continue the use of handwritten reports and field trips to classical concerts and opera. Otherwise, they will die out.
