Have two but always would love to have more.

Sea Dweller A serial and this recently acquired N serial 16570 from 1991. Creamy markers, box and papers and never polished. Edges are sharp!

Two subs..16613 and 16800. I had the serti dial and blue bezel put in the 16800 which used to be black with a spider dial. I just acquired the ladies 69173 from a well known TRF member. Valentines gift for the wife

What kind of camera do you guys use to get such crystal clear close up shots? Is it a particular setting on a camera phone or a specific type of camera for super close ups?

From bottom left to right, 1675, 16700, 16610M, 1601, Seamaster 2254.50, Seamaster 2254.50, top left, Longines Hydroconquest 41mm blue dial auto and a 5500 air king dial and case I'm still on the fence about with installing a ETA 2451. I also have a few sub $300 watches on top including a Tissot PR50 auto, Seiko and Orient Ray. And my most treasured possession and fond memory top center, A gold plated manual wind Timex (never serviced and still keeping time 43 years later) my dad bought for me at a watch store in 1972. At almost 50, I still to this day remember going with him to the watch shop and picking it out with store owner. It originally came on a leather band which I remember replacing with a Spidel in the mid-late 70's. The Spidel held up well to growing wrist and tetherball through grade school

How Many Rolex...?

I'll have to take photos, but:

a 1952 Rolex Oyster steel manual with leather strap I bought new at a U.S. Air Force PX in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, for $38. Found a period steel Oyster bracelet (before the end links curved around the face) in a little Arab jewelry shop, A very favorite watch. (I'll be 91 next month.)

a new 1977 gold Day-Date with black face, 30-year service award still in Saudi Arabia, with 2 leather straps. Much later, I bought from Leo Hamel, San Diego, a Rolex copy Italian 18k bracelet. Never wore this one and sold it a couple of years ago for just $5,000. Wish I'd kept it and bought a good leather strap plus genuine Rolex gold buckle.

In 2014 bought a 1979 men's two-tone Datejust with Champagne face, Roman numerals, Jubilee bracelet, in new condition for a very satisfactory $1,600. Still have it.

In 2014 bought a new men's Submariner 114060 from San Diego AD Ben Bridge. Still have it.

In 2015 bought a 2006 ladies two-tone Datejust with Champagne face, Roman numerals, Jubilee bracelet, still with original crystal, for $2,600. Gave to granddaughter. (Wife has a Brazilian sapphire H. Stern watch with which she is happy.)

My Rolex collection, Datejust, Date-Date, and a GMT, with a Panerai to boot. Hoping to get my Daytona sometime soon.

How does the Daytona wear compared to the GMT II?

I have the GMT II and a polar ExpII (40mm) and was thinking about trading it in for the white Daytona.

it would wear smaller. its shorter lug to lug and the bezel is 38 vs 40 mm.

they are essentially the same thickness at 12 ish mm.

i would try the daytona.
