Congrats! What a shot! And it perfectly fits your wrist … actually, it does not look 42.5

It did. This was a huge surprise; did not know this until it was being shipped to me! I almost bought a Wolf winder last month… glad I didn’t.

Daaaaaaamn, sooo nice!

Did it include the newer clasp, and if so how is it? My wrist grows and shrinks half a link at times.

Man she looks sweeeeet. Congrats!

Does anyone have a Quai des Bergues? Curious how they compare to the Antartique...

I've looked into that watch after getting my Antarctique. The guilloche dials are done by their partner Metalem. The guilloche is very high end. Love the dial options! I believe their partner Chronode had a lot of influence on the movement design, where as the Antarctique is a purely Czapek design. I don't like the Quai des Bergues movement that much. Not enough finishing for me, but that is why the price is much lower than the Antarctique. Hoping sometime in the future Czapek revises the Quai des Bergues movement. But I'm sure that is 5+ years from now.

Well done Czapek! New Quai Des Bergues movement is a big improvement, and the revision came way faster than I thought

Yes that quick release system does allow a little play in that polished center link. That bugged me too but you eventually just get used to it

Since my relatively small wrist expands and shrinks about 0.25" during the course of a day, a bit of give and take benefits my situation. Czapek's new adjustable clasp is a nice 'bonus' too. Their latest releases showcase the manufacturer's positive evolution in both the movement and bracelet.

With the supplied tool it really is an innovative feature no doubt. Im really loving this green dial. The way the tone changes with light and the contrast of the markers. Also one thing Im really liking is how little case there is around the dial. Its just a great watch, no doubt.

How would you say, does it hold up to your holy trinity watches as you have had it for some weeks now..
Is it your new daily driver?

Ive been wearing it daily for the last three weeks. I'm not a watch maker but tbh I think its right up there with the SS sport offerings from the big boys. the radial sunburst finish on the case and all the angles works very well. Its quite a thin case and the domed crystal gives it nice depth. The bracelet doesn't have quite the level of finishing as the Nautilus or RO but its still very satisfying. for a new player its a pretty phenomenal watch. I dont look at the movement much but when you do its a very different watch to the more traditional calibers. The visibility of all the mechanical parts without the traditional bridges or counterweight is satisfying and lets you appreciate the finesse required to make these watches.

Cool
Luv it.
I think most people who get the Antarctique have some heavy hitters. And if you're satisfied with it, so will be others, too. I guess Czapek is here to stay.

My initial reaction was “this is crazy”. Then i remembered that a steel Aquanaut chrono on rubber is going for €200k…

Has anyone else ordered a Czapek or Antarctique in the last few weeks? Seems the new ice blue can be ordered now. Haven't seen any official updates though.

Technically yes, though it was the Monochrome special edition. If anyone here wants an ice blue :thumbs-up:

PS, got link?

Nothing official. There appear to be a few new colors on IG, possibly introduced at some recent trade shows. But still no announcements.

The glacier blue is available for order. I believe it will ‘officially’ be unveiled sometime in the next two months, but you can order direct from Czapek. I also believe the new 38mm Antarctique will be announced relatively soon as well.

Online order or call their phone number? I searched around looking for even a picture of glacier blue with no luck. If it's in the trapezoid dial design I'd probably be a buyer.

These are a few pictures I found tagged on instagram under #czapek. The photos are out there. That is why I am partially confused. You can order the blue direct or through an AD. The salmon is already sold out.
