My one and only...

118209 Presidents' model with White Gold Case, White Gold Bracelet, Meteorite Diamond Dial, Smooth Bezel.

I've not found any postings with this exact model number. Maybe I hold an item even more special than I know...?

Nice!

They don't make these anymore as it was too similar to the platinum DD, which makes sense as the platinum DD is only offered with the smooth bezel.

That is one beautiful watch! I had a brand new President that I bought at Adler's in NOLA years ago, but I let it get away. Very sad story!! I am wondering, with the new Day-Date 40mm coming out, what all the members think the value retention of the 118238 in YG will be? I would love to buy a 2005 118238 in YG with the ivory dial and gold Roman numerals as you have, as the 36mm looks great on my 18cm wrist. But also thinking about the new 40mm version that is about to come out, especially with the new movement and all. The DDII I thought was horrible and looked ridiculous on my wrist when I tried it on. Dress watches should be smaller I think. Thoughts?

I love this watch!! I basically want this watch in a 2005-2006 model and would be willing to pay up to 18K as long as watch has box and papers. Has to be mint. I am concerned that the new Day-Date 40mm when it is released might kill the 118238 resale. I had yellow gold President that I bought new in 2001 from Adler's in NOLA. I let it get away from me. A very sad story!!

I don't think I've posted in this "official" thread before. Here's my ca. 1977 1803 that I got in Europe last month. Would you guess this watch is 38 years old?

Only because of the dial looking like and older DD. I have a '72 1803 with similar pie pan dial.

I think 36mm is the best looking DD.

Can I join the party.....?

Picked mine up last Friday, I love it and everyone elses to. Some great pictures of the most iconic Rolex reference.
Apologies for picture quality, I'm no photographer.
