Thanks, Mike. I have the crown pulled to hack the movement but it's been described as the size of a Coke can. The lume is amazing but does decay like all super luminova. Still able to read it in the morning though.
Btw, say hello to your mom. It was great to have her join our GTG!

For formal occasions, I prefer this, because it is thinner than my TT Datejust.

For casual wear, this is my current non Rolex favorite.

Marathon TSar.

Not my pic but a quick one I grabbed.

Its my only Quartz, its my hunting/camping watch.
Love the tritium lume! I have it on a Orange Martac silicone band
and LOVE it.
I also bought an auto version as well as a SAR-D.
I am looking for a recent production SAR on a US Bracelet and
I will be set.

Dan turned me onto the Marathon watches and they ROCK! Tanks
for sure.

Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra GMT Chronograph
231.10.44.52.06.001

How can you go wrong? It's a GMT & Chronograph with date. Three complications in an elegantly solid looking watch.

I would say my vintage Omegas followed closely by my vintage Hamiltons.

Those old Heuers are really cool - is yours a cal 11 or cal 12? The cal 12 is easily determined because it registers 12 hours.

They have a "micro rotor" winding system - the winding weight is about the size of a pencil eraser -

Joint design between Heuer, Hamilton and Breitling. I believe the cal 11 was the first ever automatic chronograph.

Sweet bit of history.

WOW not know so many KY guys here.
I have to head down to Frankfort in the next couple weeks to see my aunt
for a night, she is pretty sick and her time is approaching. I do not think
she will make it to my wedding in Sept. so I am gonna drive down to see
her. Shes in Frankfort (grew up spending much of my summers there, went to the Derby many times (even sat in the Governors box and attended the Governors Brunch as a child)). I will also be going to Lexington as my cousin lives there, gonna have to skip my trip to Lousiville for the gun show in March though :(

Atomic watches????.....will they still work if you are NOT in Japan,Germany,UK,USA,etc????????
Funny thing is, that shot doesn't do any justice to the way the blue looks in person in good light. At times, it's stunning.

As for the atomic G's, some can receive a signal from five locales (like mine), some six. So no, unless you are in a country that will receive the signal, the function won't work. It will still be an accurate watch, though. You can always get the non-atomic version of most models, and they work great. Most people who own G's are very happy with them. Great bang for your buck.

That said, I love the atomic Gulfman.

I'm pretty sure it's a cal 12 as it had the newer body style in the Autavia Viceroy line.

Thinking of picking up another Autavia or a Carerra at some point. Something about vintage Heuers for me.
