I picked it up here in Switzerland where I'm working yes definatly try it on infact no don't try it on otherwise it will cost you near 5grand as you'll want one lol it's got lovely
weight and presence and the strap is simply
beautifully crafted making adjustments is
very simple. The asthetics of it will make
your eyes glaze over and your wallet 5k
lighter but your heart 20grand happier :) you only live once

First : congrats !

Second : I must disagree with you regarding new LV , I got both the new LN and LV and prefer the LV.
I find the bezel no "joke" at all ! Pictures do this watch no justice, it is extremely good looking.

Congrats on your LV well done to get one never dissing a new sub the green bezel on the old lv so many people have or want to change the insert judging by the forum posts. The new flat green bezel in my opinion only mind doesn't match the dial if people are 100% honest with themselves they wud agree with point taking sentiment out if the question be honest if truth be told is this the best bezel color and style to go with the LV green dial - it isn't cud the bezel have been better in patternation color - yes absolutely. I know I'm right on this point and everyone would agree. Please don't take
offence it's not intended at all Rolex made the best sub they cud but not the best green bezel that's all I'm saying.

yeah - I really have hoped that Rolex came up with the same shade of green for the dial and the bezel insert for the OV.
But who knows, I may not resist it when I see it in person and had to have it.... Just love the rolex green.

I got both and prefer the LV (it is not OV btw). Wait for life viewing. You'll see.
I didn't like it in pictures. Now I am a fan !!

we will see about that. I have a bad habit of buying rolex with green bits on it - hope my AD would call soon for an inspection.

LV = green bezel (past gen Sub LV)
OV = green dial (apparently code named for the new Sub-C green bezel)

Plus more damage if you drop them on a hard floor the bigger they are the harder they fall.

I think a much darker shade of green would have been better or given the option of having the black bezel that would have worked definatly
just the flat green bezel is just that "flat" when I wear an expensive Rolex watch I never wanna look at it and feel "if only" hence it was an easy choice to go for the new black sub date whenever I look at it I just smile and think
perfect.

You too , funny, I was there and stared at the thing for ages. I went and came back several times not believing my eyes. It looked awfull there.
Now that I got both the LN is in the safe and I can't stop looking at the LV.
Can't believe I am writing this but it's true. It is gorgeous

To be one of the first is a privelage and the dealers won't be getting but 1 or 2 this year and next year will be same very short supply - you won't get this watch for a very long time if your looking to purchase it now. I will post some pics to show you - the green one is really ugly by the way IMO the dial is only ok but green bezel is a joke lol
ethan
Congrats on the new addition and wear it in good health!

Rolex really should have put a wider bracelet on the new Sub. Those Supercase lugs really dwarf the Oyster bracelet.
