A lot of opinions and suggestions here but only one number so far. So how about posting some actual numbers here so we can compare deals? Given that I can get 30% off on a ss dj 116200 with no tax in the us, I feel like the us might be the best place.

It depends on the MSRP of the country, the value of the dollar for purchasing power ie, exchanging Canadian into US is great because the US MSRP is lower than the Canadian MSRP and the Canadian Dollar is quite strong. I think it is all relative to what currency you start with, then the MSRP and then there are other factors such as duties and or taxes. I still say you cant beat the trusted TRF sellers for deals and consistancy.

I was in Hong Kong a few years back and literally every intersection had four jewellers on the 4 corners and every second store sold gold, diamonds and Rolexes. No tax, gold and platinum jewellery tied to the spot price. It would be interesting to hear how their prices compare and if there's availability on the SS Daytona given the sheer number of dealers and the fact that the national watch is Rolex.
