I would definitely go with either the 36mm Datejust on jubilee or the Expy II

Among the ones you mentioned I'd go with the Exp II (the Explorer is lighter but I prefer the ExpII).

But for most comfort, this is it (Date with jubilee or DJ with jubilee):

Anything with that fantastic super-Jubilee bracelet, it's got to be the most comfortable bracelet ever made.

Explorers (both I and II) and Sub 14060m are most comfortable Rolex sport watches IMHO.

I own a 39mm Explorer and I would rate it as one of the most comfortable watch on the wrist.

I agree with vukotab - the 14060m Sub has a very light but strong bracelet and is so comfortable. I can only compare it to an Omega Seamaster and a Breitling SuperOcean, both of which are comfortable, but not nearly as "invisible feeling" as the ND Sub.

I only have one ... would say the EX1 36mm is very, very comfortable!
You hardly know it is on your wrist.
Cheers.

Considering bracelet, balance, comfort and under a shirt cuff ease:

1. Daytona
2. EXPII
3. Milgauss

I find the 36mm Datejust on a Jubilee very comfortable.

1680 on a 9315 bracelet

Are you considering vintage?

A 1680 on a folded 9315 bracelet is lightweight and comfortable. I feel that it “disappears” on the wrist.

Something a little lower in profile may be a 5512/5513 on a 9315 bracelet.

BTW, I'm a huge fan of the 9315 bracelet.

I have both a DJ on oyster and jubilee...to me the jubilee bracelet fits my wrist the best and is the most comfortable. Compared to my 16610, the DJs definitely feel alot lighter!

I find it odd that anyone would think a DJ/DD disappears on the "wrist" (ARM). They DO fit under sleeves, so they disappear in THAT sense!

A 34mm vintage Oyster takes up less square footage on the arm, but is still pretty tall.

For a Rolex to "disappear" as much as possible, you need a small/thin watch: Cellini on leather.
