See, you look at the older/normal ROO's and the ROO diver and they look well made and quality, they have had some thought on design and i would love one of those.

You then look at these grand prix and newer LE's and they just look badly thought out and designed, the one at the top is a prime example, a carbon case with what appears to be components slapped onto the side, to someone looking it just appears to be a last minute design, as if they couldn't quite work it with carbon, so went for something else and it is just a horrendous mishmash of a watch, especially when you look at how far the dials are now thrown over to the left, again all symmetry is lost and AP really need to start getting back to basics, for a range that is their best sellers, they don't appear to be spending a lot on it, with a movement that has a chrono module on it and a case design that now appears to be getting modifications thrown on it i guess they are falling into the trap of 'if we make it, it'll sell'

Interesting thread, thanks for sharing! Personally I think if I ever buy another AP, it will be something in the Jules Audemars ultra-thin line. Ultimate elegance, IMO.

Cool, thanks for sharing Thomas.

The Sachin Tendulkar LE looks kinda neat.

I like how they did each of the sub dials and hands differently.

That creamy nougat colored dial with the Rose gold is so mouthwatering
