Also they die when I don't wear them for a while and I can't get my old Daytona (6263's and 6241) to start on their own when my wrist moves!

Ken I don't see how you put up with that.

But I am willing to help.

Send them to me and you'll never have to worry about them again.

I mean I am willing to take that burden off of your hands.

I know, I know, no need to thank me.

My gmt2c is too beautiful, it distracts me while I am driving. That's definitely a fault! :)

Looks too good and works too well.
Ruined my interest in collecting other watches after 20 years of collecting.
That's about it.

Thankfully nothing except normal wear and tear. Little scratches and a small bracelet issue. Overall. I am very happy with mine.

The only fault with mine was it didn't come with a health warning saying owning one would make you want another one

I have read a number of threads/posts where people make the assumption that rolex quality has gone down recently due to small flaws in their watches. Just remember that not very long ago there was no Internet, and therefore no forum for people to get together and compare. With the number of watches being sold and the relatively small number of complaints I would hazard a guess that there is no difference in quality. I also expect that the people visiting this forum on average are much pickier about their purchases. (how many non wis types would consider looking at their watches with loupes?).
I think ere are a lot of unrealistic expectations out there. These watches come a long way from their place of manufacture, are often handled by many people before being bought, and let's face it there are going to be imperfections and sometimes they get by the quality control process. Is every Mercedes or Lexus absolutely flawless on delivery?
My two cents worth.
Cheers
