indeed for a second I was getting worried about the milky white comments as I had hoped it would be white gold... IMO Platinum is just as good
just a little more relieved now - as i'm already not too pleased at having to pay full list for it.. just cause I want one now... |

Don't you just love the way Rolex trickles out the distribution of new models. One here, one there:
Sales AD person:"Oh sorry it was here yesterday but now it's gone we sold it". Me:"When will you get the next GMTII maxi in SS" Sales AD person:"Oh I'm sorry we don't know, it just depends on when Rolex supplies us." Me: I don't know if this is a marketing strategy or what. Rolex has brought the new GMT to the market very quickly, maybe to bolster enthusiasm because some people might think "released in 6 months, I'll have to go for something else". A billion dollar company has to think about these marketing strategies? |
