Blingalingaling what happened to the traditional Rolex tool watch.
I would want a lot of quality horology for 5500 euros (euros!!! )
I can understand you wanting to get rid of it next week.
I reserve my judgment until I see it in the flesh, and others have used it for 50 years...
A 1675 might cost 3,000 euros top, and you get....enuf said.

I think the new SS GMT II looks GREAT!

I wish they wouldn't have done away with the two-colored bezels though.

WITH THAT IN MIND.

I don't even necessarily believe they are doing away with the distinctive two-colored bezels as has been previously reported.

I just think the marketing has the all black rolling out the new welcome.

Sort of like, black and white television sets as precursors to colored ones.

Beautiful watch, I wish there were some SS GMT II here in North America, sort of a joke out here Rolex USA is always last to get anything new. I wish they would take their business more serious. Rolex USA in my view acts like we get them when we get them until then you will wait. They should just say "Let them eat cake." It’s the same arrogant attitude in my view.

Don't expect too much from the watch, Rich!!

Just saw it this afternoon....real close and personal. While the bracelet continues to impress along with that amazingly crafted clasp, the bezel is too in your face, the bezel numbers a MILKY WHITE - unlike the WG markers we love to see....and the rest is just too thick and bulky.

Sorry, not my cuppa!! Honestly placed my Blue Sub next to it and guess who won? That's right....BLUESY!!

That New Awesome watch of yours would look better with the new Jubilee concealed clasp!

Congrats on the watch.....

But as many others here have said.....too much extra $$ for nothing, and to quote someone "Not my cuppa"
I have a GMT II and I dont think the new GMT comes close to it. Rolex have gotten away from creating working watches. I bought a GMT for flying. Alot of it at night......I can tell you right now I would never see that green hand at night. The red one stands out......As far as that bezel.....way too busy. They are trying to make a watch that you can spot from accross the room.

As guess as with any company, you must change to keep up in business and Rolex is obviously trying to attract a different crowd....it has become apparent to me that I am not part of that crowd. Clownmaster included.

I don't think so, Mikey. As much as I love and admire the Jubilee, the watch-head of the new GMT-II is so damn heavy, it would stretch a Jubilee even beyond my stretchable imagination!!

Very nice pics.. I love that watch. I love all 3 versions of the Anniv. GMTII(Gold, TT, and SS).. I personally think it's a masterpiece of a watch. I'm a little confused by alot of the responses I've read though. Many of you have pointed out that the numbers on the bezel are a bit large for your tastes. But I don't recall that many similar responses to the TT GMTII or Gold GMTII, which both have the same size numbers on the bezel, just in gold. So what is it that makes the bezel on the SS so "different" in comparison to you guys??

And come on JJ, of course you'd call your TT Blue Sub the winner, no matter what. You're biased. I mean, you love that watch.. :-)

...maybe it is the white numbers. They dont look good on a silver watch. Maybe if the where silver to match the watch. The TT numbers are gold which I think creates a better harmony of colors......

I have a Tag F1 Chrono with black titanium coated bezel and big white numbers, in my opinion it looks pretty good. So far I think the new GMT looks good in pictures
