Wash it more regularly...
....would be my advice....similar picture to what was posted earlier...this is from 1986 and has had a very unsheltered life to say the least....it has been on my wrist for hundreds of bike races and thousands of training rides....it gets washed once a day when it is worn....it has been semi-retired lately.....I feel it deserves it after so many years of daily punishment....this is what they are built for....who says the mighty DateJust isn't a tool watch....it was my tool for telling the time on (and off) a bike for years....never missed a beat and I love it.....believe it or not when it's on my wrist it doesn't look stretched at all.....my most comfortable watch...like a pair of old slippers!!!
