Thanks Cru!

And heart82, no worries my friend! The rest of my collections are in rhe bank's deposit box at the moment, since the robbery I never keep more than 3 watches in my home safe.. Usually I rotate every 3 months or so, but I'll try if I can post a few more pics of the rest of the watches! :)

No problems my friend! I'm gonna change my strap again later on sunday! Hahahaha... Man you gotta love the strap changes.

One thing I wonder though, why doesn't this boutique edition comes with a screw-in lug, instead of a push-in lug...

I like the push-in lug much much better. I can exchange strap extremely quickly anywhere that provides two toothpicks and I can even exchange it on a traffic light!

I'm sure most of us here love the quick-strap-change system, too.
Or, I should say the "toothpicks-strap-change" system...

Probably to make them more in line with historic Panerai. Still better than springbars!

Great straps.

I have a strap Greg made me from tan English bridle leather with historic, vintage style stitching, after wearing it and rubbing a lot of Kiwi brown polish into it, it looks like a heavily patinated ammo strap, but cleaner and stronger, definitely my favorite.

I was bored earlier... had nothing to do today... and my wife is out of town, so more time to fiddle with my watch.

So then, I have 2 JV straps sitting around, and I really liked the assoulamante (whatever it's called) strap... so I thought "hey why not make my JV vintage.."...

So I did.

Turned out pretty good and I really like it.
