My dad sold it to his mechanic in 1985... it had about 67,000 miles on it.

Okay, here are some more of the 1963 Ford Falcon Futura. It's got an engine from a 1966 Mustang, according to the guy who sold it. It's a 200ci inline 6. I think this has the 3-speed "Cruise-O-Matic" automatic transmission.

The engine original to the Falcon was a 6 cyl. 170ci. An 8 cylinder was made available the second half of 1963; before then, all Falcons had 6 cylinder engines.

Does it qualify as maybe a psuedo-pony-muscle-cruiser car? Or the baby sister thereof?

Here's an example of a car that was rarer than most muscle cars yet obviously less desireable today. '67 Maluibu 4 door hardtop. One of only 2,650 made. 30,000 original miles. Unmolested original with all documentation, sales, protect-o-plate etc.. I was the second owner. My great aunt was the first.
Sold it last week. The guy drove up from New Jersey to pick it up. I never used it. In the 11 years I owned it I put less than 2,000 miles on it. Since 2008 I put 200 miles on it. I just hope the guy who has it now keeps it original, takes good care of it and treats it with respect. There's no way to know. I can only hope.

Bill, congratulations on selling the Malibu - hope you were pleased with the deal. Those "survivor" cars are so desirable among many collectors - if he were wise he'd keep it Old School... it's truly a find!

For Lisa..a muscle car can be a newer model car that is designed to drag race. The GN only has a turbo 6 motor, but my husband's car is a 10 second beast. There are not many muscle cars left.

Sports cars are designed to handle a road course with speed and style. Corvettes and Vipers still manage to be in both the muscle car and sports car categories....no mater their age.

The cars include a
2006 Viper SRT 10 Coupe
2002 Corvette Z06
1987 Buick Grand National
1972 Buick GS 455

We also have a 2006 1 ton single rear wheel Dodge Cummins, Laramie, 4wd and a 2009 2 door, 4wd, Jeep Wrangler....

I don't know if you missed the 1972 Buick GS 455 I posted, but that car is the sister of the 454 Chevelle. Also the Buick GN was one of the LAST official Muscle cars of the Muscle car era.

Muscle applies to Horsepower and torque as related to the ability to run a straight line. Sports cars are usually defined as related to speed and manueverablity around a track.

The Corvettes and Vipers have a tire in each category.

Go when you are ready, I have run a perfect light and would be happy to show you exactly what muscle is.....

Most people who take a ride with me don't want back in the car, unless they are speed junkies....

Not technically a "Muscle Car", but she has 384hp and 421 feet/torque and is around a 4.0 second 0-60mph. SO bring on those gas guzzling V8s
ps, on my trip to LA ( 1500 miles) I averaged 29US MPG's and I don't want to post my average speed, but it was at least the speed limit down the I5.
